Teaching Goals
The ABC German School strives to provide a home-like environment for children of all ages and all language levels to learn and enhance their German language skills through fun educative ways.
Teaching Methods

- Games, projects and playtimes are designed to stimulate and improve German language skills through play and interaction

- Teachers are trained professionals in Education, Psychology, Special needs education or degrees in foreign language teaching.

The ABC German School has over 20 years of history:
- Established in 1997 by owner/founder Nadja Helmer-Penry and a group of German parents
- The Goal: A German Immersion School in the Seattle area
- School has grown from 10 students/2 teachers to about 140 students/14 teachers
- The Program now offers Immersion Preschool, Kindergarten, Mini-Me classes, Kids Yoga, Afterschool classes, Evening classes for adults, summer camps and cultural events

Proudly presenting the new ABC German School
Our facility consists of 2200 square feet with 4 classrooms, a welcome reception area, a teachers storage room, a large kitchen and bathrooms with additional toilets and child-height sinks ADA accessible. The new ABC German Daycare School is a state-of-the-art language school with a unique sensory playground.
The ABC German School offers a warm nutritious lunch program to all of their students. Lunch is included in the tuition. Our chef provides daily a balanced meal, utilizing 70% of organic ingredients. Meals are also available as dairy free or vegetarian options.
